At Welti Furrer, we care about the environment. We have been committed to the responsible use of resources for years and implement targeted measures to minimize the environmental impact of our relocation and logistics services.
As part of our environmental policy, we not only comply with legal requirements, but are also committed to continuously improving our environmental performance.
To conserve resources, we use reusable rental materials instead of disposable packaging wherever possible. Items that are no longer required are disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner and after careful separation at official collection points. We also actively support our customers in making sustainable decisions about their move.
Our vehicle fleet is constantly being modernized and always meets the latest environmental standards. All new vehicles meet the Euro 6 standard and are particularly low-emission. Back in 2011, we were the first Swiss removal company to use a Mercedes hybrid truck. Our vehicles run on eco-diesel and our drivers are regularly trained in eco-driving. Consumption and emissions are continuously monitored and optimized. We also pay attention to environmental responsibility when selecting our suppliers.
Since 2011, we have been working with the non-profit organization myclimate to effectively offset the CO₂ emissions of our operational activities. As a consequence of this commitment, Welti Furrer was certified according to the internationally recognized environmental standard ISO 14001, proof of professional and exemplary environmental management.
Together with our corporate customers, we promote the reuse of office furniture. Thanks to professional inventory management, we create transparency about existing inventory, store it professionally, clean and repair it if necessary and then deliver it again. Digital tools allow our customers to keep an overview at all times – for sustainable use and fewer new purchases.
